Welcome to "SMART Mandarin.”

Located in Taiwan, SMART Mandarin offers a unique environment for students to learn Mandarin Chinese at any level and at any pace.

 

Our mission is to provide language training in oral and/or written communication skills.

 

Whether you are visiting Taiwan, or plan to make this country your new home, you will find that our economical courses make SMART Mandarin the ideal choice for your language education.

WHAT WE DO

Each year we help students from all over the world not only learn Mandarin, but live Mandarin.

 

Students can learn through variety of options. We can provide one-on-one classes, group classes or online instruction for distance learning.

 

Class times are structured around your schedule. Frequency and class lengths can be as little as once a week or as much as you want.

 

Students can also cater the class structure to their needs. From learning everyday Chinese to intensive reading and writing, or even business Chinese SMART Mandarin is a flexible option to fit with whatever your schedule allows.

ABOUT US
SMART Mandarin was founded by Katrina Lee, originally born and raised in Taiwan, an island in East Asia.

 

She began her career as an English teacher in Taiwan. Soon after, she wanted to expand her career and potential as a language teacher. So, she started the process to become a professional and licensed Mandarin instructor.   

 

SMART Mandarin was founded to give foreign students a way to communicate and better enjoy this new culture around them. Recently, Katrina Lee decided to expand SMART Mandarin by offering online instruction.

 

Through video and audio lessons directly accessible through this website, students can achieve the classroom experience without leaving their home.

 

For all students, SMART Mandarin encourages learning outside the classroom. SMART Mandarin also sends weekly Chinese learning tips, handouts, and survival phrases via e-mail for students to practice on their own.
